Awards and Scholarships

The following awards were presented at the 2009 Spring ASCLS-Montana Annual Meeting in Billings in April.  Congratulations to all the recipients!

Amy Steinmetz (left),Billings, is awarded the 2009 ASCLS-MT Member of the Year Award 

Aimee Little (right) is awarded the 2009 ASCLS-Montana Student of the Year (Mary Martin Fund) Award

2009 ASCLS-MT Member Paper of the Year, sponsored by Western Microscope was awarded to Walter Walsh of Helena, by Awards Chairs Michele Nelson and Renee Kloser (picture at left).
Walter's paper was entitled 
Black Death and HIV.
Ashley Greco is awarded the 2009 Student Poster of the Year Award, sponsored by Intermountain Biomedical Services, and presented by Michele Nelson and Renee Kloser, Awards Chairs.  
Ashley's poster was entitled Autologous Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Therapy.
Irene Siewert, Helena, is awarded the 2009 Montana Peoples Choice Poster of the Year Award for The Advantages of Fluorescent Flow Cytometry.  The award was presented by Michele Nelson and Renee Kloser, Awards Chairs.
