In 2004, the silent
auction fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network raised funds in excess of
$900 which will be presented to Shodair
Hospital, the Montana CMN hospital, during the local CMN Telethon in
June. ASCLS-MT thanks all the participants for their generous
contributions.

In 2003, the silent auction fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network was once again a great success. Funds in excess of $1200 will be presented to Shodair Hospital, the Montana CMN hospital, during the local CMN Telethon in June. Thanks to everyone who donated to this worthy event! |

In 2002, the Children's Miracle Network fundraiser, held during MTSCLS in Bozeman in April, was a another great success! The money raised from the Silent Auction was presented to Shodair Hospital, in Helena, on local television June 1, 2002 during the CMN Telethon.

ASCLS and ASCLS - Montana are interested in promoting the practice of clinical laboratory science, and continue to advocate for our members and our profession in the areas of public image, membership services, communications media, and personal development.
Some of the activities ASCLS - Montana has done to acknowledge our professional members is to write letters to employers to recognize the efforts of our Board Members and Committee Chairs, have articles printed in local newspapers announcing elected Board Members and Award winners, and providing recognition awards for service and sustained membership.
On the national level, ASCLS has entered a partnership with Children's Miracle Network to raise funds for childrens' hospitals throughout the nation. This is an opportunity for all of us to give back something to our communities and increase public awareness of clinical laboratory science. The Montana CMN participating hospital is Shodair Hospital in Helena. Various fundraising activities are planned - stay tuned for details.
