FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL: The following song (sung to the tune of My Favorite Things) was part of the antics of ‘MCT Bits and Pieces’ (a local Missoula improv group of performers).
ASCLS-MT, April 16, 2010
Raindrops
on roses and whiskers on kittens
Rubber gloves will be replaced with wool mittens
They'll still smell fresh, though, because they were built
To soak up the odors when urine is spilt.
"Exploring
the Rivers of Change" is your theme
People "explore" too much, know what I mean
Dangerous sports that could fracture your tibia
Infections we can't say out loud... (aside) rhymes with Lydia...
Where
does blood get sent for testing?
Maybe to Pennsylvania?
We've got a good joke, you've not heard before
About a man from ....... Transylvania!
While
eating your breakfast you talk of diseases
Pancreas problems and stool sample feces
It's quite impressive --- the work that you do
Molecular testing and processing POO.
Doctors and nurses, they don't have a clue
They like pretending they know what you do
Thinking it's fun and games, they want your job
They asked some guy for his vaginal swab....
We're
amazed that you can keep
A straight face when you say
"Your poop looks suspicious, I'll need to see more"
Come again and have a .......nice day!
